Temperatures in Morocco can vary quite a bit. It’s essential to use sun protection, wear layers to combat the day heat and evening chill, and drink plenty of water.


There are a couple of long travel days on this trip. Rest stops will be made on the way to beautiful and interesting destinations, and you’ll be rewarded with great views on the drive itself.

Casablanca

Welcome to the incredible city of Casablanca! As you step off the plane and into this bustling metropolis, you'll immediately feel the excitement in the air. Our team will be there to greet you, ensuring a smooth arrival and transfer to your accommodation. Once settled in, take some time to relax and freshen up, or perhaps take a short stroll to get your first glimpse of Casablanca's unique blend of modernity and tradition. The city's energy is infectious, setting the perfect tone for the adventures that lie ahead.


In the evening, we'll gather for a delightful Welcome Dinner and orientation. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet your fellow travelers and get acquainted with the journey ahead. Over a delicious Moroccan meal, we'll share stories, set expectations, and provide valuable insights about the trip. The warm hospitality and rich flavors of Moroccan cuisine will make this a memorable start to your adventure.

Chefchaouen

Our day begins with a visit to the awe-inspiring Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca, one of the largest and most beautiful mosques in the world. This architectural marvel, perched on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, offers a serene and breathtaking start to our adventure. After soaking in the beauty and tranquility of the mosque, we set off on a picturesque drive to the charming town of Chefchaouen, known for its stunning blue-washed buildings and picturesque streets. 


The journey, spanning approximately 4.5 hours, will include a delightful stop for lunch, where you can savor delicious Moroccan cuisine and enjoy the scenic views along the way.


Upon arriving in Chefchaouen, you'll have some time to explore and immerse yourself in its unique atmosphere before we gather for a memorable group dinner at a local favorite restaurant. While the dinner is not included in the tour cost, the experience of sharing a meal with fellow travelers in such a magical setting is priceless. 


As the day draws to a close, you'll surely find yourself captivated by the charm and beauty of Chefchaouen.

Chefchaouen to Fes

Our morning begins with a captivating 2-hour walking tour of Chefchaouen, where you’ll wander through the maze of blue-washed streets, colorful markets, and charming squares. This guided tour will unveil the hidden gems of this picturesque town, from its artisan workshops to panoramic viewpoints offering stunning vistas of the surrounding Rif Mountains. As you soak in the serene atmosphere and snap photos of the enchanting blue walls, you'll feel the magic of Chefchaouen deeply resonate within you.


After our exploration, we depart for the ancient city of Fes, with an exciting stop along the way. We'll visit the impressive Roman ruins of Volubilis, located about an hour outside Fes. Here, a guided tour will take us through the remarkably well-preserved ruins, showcasing grand arches, intricate mosaics, and ancient temples that tell the story of this once-thriving Roman city. 


As we continue our journey to Fes, the anticipation builds for what lies ahead in this historic city. The day concludes with our arrival in Fes, where the echoes of its rich history and vibrant culture await your discovery.

Exploring Fes

Our day begins early with an exciting guided tour of Fes, one of Morocco's most enchanting cities. We'll begin at the majestic Royal Palace, where you'll be captivated by its stunning architecture and rich history. From there, we dive into the lively Jewish Quarter, experiencing the spirited energy of the city's multicultural heritage. Next, we'll head to the south Military Tower for breathtaking panoramic views and visit the renowned pottery village, where skilled artisans create intricate designs passed down through generations.


The highlight of our tour will be exploring the medina, with its bustling markets and maze-like alleys offering an authentic glimpse into Moroccan life. We'll visit the iconic tanneries, where leather is still dyed using traditional methods, and stop by various shrines and the weavers’ guild to witness beautiful textiles in the making. The medina is a sensory overload in the best way possible - with endless colors, enticing scents, and the constant hum of activity that will surely leave you enchanted!


While lunch is not included in the tour cost, we've got something special lined up. We’ll arrange a meal at a local restaurant famed for its delicious cuisine, offering you a taste of the authentic flavors of Fes. This will be a perfect time to relax, enjoy the local delicacies, and share your experiences with fellow travelers. 


Afterward, you'll have free time to continue exploring the medina or simply soak in the unique atmosphere of this incredible city. This day in Fes is designed to immerse you fully in Moroccan culture, history, and daily life, leaving you with unforgettable memories and a deeper appreciation for this remarkable place!

Fes to Erfoud

Today, is a traveling day, with several special stops along the way! We kick off our adventure early, winding through the scenic mid-Atlas Mountains. Our first stop is Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco” due to its adorably charming alpine architecture and manicured gardens. It's the perfect place to stretch our legs, snap some memorable photos, and enjoy the fresh, crisp mountain air.


Next, we venture into the enchanting cedar forests of Azrou. Here, we’ll have the exciting opportunity to see Barbary macaque monkeys in their natural habitat. These playful creatures amidst the towering cedar trees offer a unique wildlife experience and a refreshing break from our travels. Don’t forget your camera—this is a moment you'll want to capture!


After our forest adventure, we’ll stop for a delightful lunch in Midelt, a town renowned for its lush apple orchards. We’ll savor local cuisine and enjoy stunning mountain views, making it a wonderful spot to relax, chat with fellow travelers, and maybe even taste some of the region’s famous apples.


In the afternoon, we drive through the breathtaking Ziz Valley, known for its expansive date palm groves. The landscape here is truly spectacular, with palm trees stretching endlessly against the backdrop of the arid desert. Our journey concludes in Erfoud, a charming town on the edge of the desert, famous for its fossils and beautiful markets. 


This day promises a perfect blend of diverse landscapes, unique wildlife, and great memories!

Sahara Desert

Today is a bucket-list day, indeed! Our first highlight is a visit to a local nomad family, offering us a rare and personal glimpse into the traditions and daily life of the Berber people. This intimate encounter allows us to appreciate their rich cultural heritage and the resilient spirit that defines their nomadic lifestyle.


Next, we immerse ourselves in the spirited energy of a bustling date market in Rissani. The lively stalls are brimming with the region's famous sweet dates, and we’ll have the chance to sample these delightful treats. For lunch, we savor a delicious Berber pizza, a unique local specialty that perfectly complements the flavors of the desert.


In the afternoon, we embark on a camel caravan into the heart of the Sahara, an experience that is nothing short of magical! Riding across the golden dunes, guided by the gentle, rhythmic steps of our camels, we’ll be surrounded by the stunning, ever-changing landscape of the desert. The highlight of our journey is the breathtaking sunset over the endless sandscape, a view that will leave us in awe.


As night falls, we arrive at a luxury camp where we’ll spend the evening in private, comfortable tents. Here, we’ll enjoy a freshly cooked meal and lively music around the campfire, all under the starlit desert sky. This tranquil and luxurious setting provides the perfect ending to an incredible day, a perfect blend of extraordinary experiences and enchanting moments, ensuring memories that will surely last a lifetime.

Sahara to Dades Valley

We start our day with a bang by rising early to catch a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes. The sight of the desert bathed in the soft, golden light of the morning is truly magical and the perfect way to bid farewell to the Sahara. As the sun climbs, we'll head out and begin our journey along the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs. This area is dotted with ancient fortresses that create a dramatic and picturesque landscape—perfect for soaking in the rich history and capturing some amazing photos.


Our next stop is a fascinating fossil workshop where we'll see how ancient sea creatures are transformed into stunning artifacts. It’s amazing to see this age-old craftsmanship up close and learn about the prehistoric life that once thrived here. We’ll also explore traditional desert irrigation systems known as Khetteras, which have been crucial for desert agriculture for centuries. This is a fantastic opportunity to understand how the Berber people have adapted to their environment over the ages.


After this, we’ll make our way to Todgha Gorge, where we'll walk along the riverbed flanked by towering 350-meter rock cliffs. The sheer scale of these cliffs is just awe-inspiring, and the serene beauty of the river adds to the experience. It's a great spot to take a leisurely stroll and marvel at nature's grandeur.


For lunch, we’ll enjoy a delicious meal and then head to a local Berber museum to delve deeper into the region’s rich culture. Finally, we’ll travel to our hotel in the scenic Dades Valley, where we can relax and unwind after another day full of exploration and discovery.

DAY 8

Dades Valley to Marrakech

We kick off our day with an exciting journey through Berber villages and stunning landscapes, heading toward Ouarzazate, famously known as the “Hollywood of Morocco.” As we travel, we’ll be surrounded by incredible scenery that’s as diverse as it is breathtaking. Ouarzazate is home to many film studios, and it’s where countless movies have been shot, adding a touch of Hollywood glamour to our adventure.


Our first stop is the UNESCO-listed Ksar Aït Benhaddou, a fortified village that looks like it’s straight out of a movie set. This ancient village is a real gem with its dramatic architecture and rich history. It’s no wonder it’s been featured in so many famous films and TV shows. We’ll have plenty of time to explore and maybe even imagine ourselves as stars of our own desert epic.


Next, we tackle the winding roads of the High Atlas Mountains, including the spectacular Tizi n'Tichka pass. The views from here are absolutely phenomenal—think sprawling valleys, snow-capped peaks, and rugged landscapes that seem to go on forever. It’s a photographer’s dream and a chance to really appreciate the natural beauty of Morocco.


As we head into the flat plains of Marrakech, we’ll notice the city’s lively vibe kicking in. The ancient medina and bustling souks are our next stop, where we’ll find a mix of sights, sounds, and smells that really bring this place to life. We’ll explore the markets and take in the rich history of the area. Marrakech is a great spot to dive into Moroccan culture and experience the intoxicating energy of the city! It will be a fun and relaxed way to round off our day of exploration.

DAY 9

Marrakech

Today we'll meet our cultural expert for a fascinating half-day tour of Marrakech. Our first stop is the stunning Bahia Palace, where we'll be wowed by its beautiful gardens and intricate architecture. This palace is a real treat, with its colorful tiles and beautiful courtyards providing us a little glimpse into Moroccan royal life.


Next, we head over to Le Jardin Secret, a serene oasis tucked away from the city's hustle and bustle. This garden is a peaceful retreat with its carefully designed spaces and calming atmosphere—a perfect spot to unwind and take in the beauty of Marrakech in a more relaxed setting.


In the afternoon, we’ll have plenty of free time to explore the city at our own pace! Whether you choose to visit the famous Jardin Majorelle, with its vibrant colors and exotic plants, or check out the Yves Saint Laurent Museum to delve into the fashion icon's legacy, there's something for everyone. If contemporary art is more your style, the modern art museums in Gueliz are definitely worth a visit. For a bit of relaxation, consider experiencing a traditional hammam, which is a great way to unwind and enjoy some local pampering. Or, if you’re in the mood for shopping, the souks offer a treasure trove of unique souvenirs and local crafts. This day is all about diving into Marrakech’s rich culture and having the freedom to explore and enjoy the city in your own way! 


We’ll wrap up our adventure with a lovely farewell dinner, celebrating the incredible journey we’ve shared and savoring the last moments together in style!

It’s bittersweet to say goodbye, but we’re leaving with fantastic memories and great experiences. As our adventure wraps up, we’ll transfer you to Marrakech Menara Airport for your flight home. Thank you for being part of this journey!
